Won't my landlord help me out if my property in damaged in my apartment?

No! Renters often think that because the landlord has insurance on the home or apartment building, the possessions they have in the apartment are covered under this insurance. Not true! Many find out too late that this is not the case when something terrible happens and none of their belongings are covered.

That's why you need an apartment renters insurance policy. A renters insurance policy will provide the apartment owner with personal property or contents coverage. And liability protection if someone elses property gets damaged in your apartment. it's so important that now some owners of these apartment complexes require their tenants to have renters

insurance to ensure that they have personal liability coverage. So get it!
